After four years, Allen Durham is finally returning to his second home. The hulking 6-foot-6 forward will reinforce Meralco in the upcoming 2024 PBA Governors’ Cup, as confirmed by Bolts team manager Paolo Trillo to Tiebreaker Times.
Durham, 36, spent the last four years in the B.League. He played for Niigata during the pandemic-stricken 2020-21 season before staying with Ryukyu for the last three years.
Durham last appeared in a Bolts uniform in 2020 when he bolstered the Bolts in that year's Governors' Cup where they fell to rival Barangay Ginebra in the finals.
Before that, Durham had already led Meralco to two finals appearances, but both stints saw them crumble against the Gin Kings.
During the course of his PBA stint, the 36-year-old Durham also won the Best Import awards thrice.
