It took a while for the Meralco Bolts to shake off the rust, but eventually they remembered that they were playing in the preseason games to determine who has what it takes to carry the team to the next level.
With that said, the preseason games are always about first impressions of the new guys. And after a couple of exercises and play set-ups, the team has finally decided on its final roster for the upcoming PBA Philippine Cup starting 19 October 2014.
The line-up still has some things need improving, such as the center position, but the aggressive attitude will be something to expect. It is important not to overreact too much to the following list of players, not yet anyway,

Aside from its line-up, the Meralco Bolts also has a new set coaching staff headed by coach Norman Black, who will be ably assisted by Ronnie Magsanoc, Luigi Trillo, Mike Jarin, Patrick Fran, Xavier Nunag and Gene Afable.
The team's PBA governor is Alfredo Panlilio, while the alternate governors aew Betty Siy-Yap and former Bolts coach Ryan Gregorio. One notable addition to the coaching staff is former Alaska Aces coach and now team manager Paolo Trillo.
It should also be noted that the line-up could still change depending on the on-going negotiation with Danny Ildefonso after he was released by Blackwater Elite and in lieu if Rabeh Al-Hussaini's continued absence.
