Here are the initial player lineups submitted by the Meralco Bolts for the 2014 Philippine Cup, which tips off this Sunday. The league will open at 2:00 P.M. live on TV5, followed by a unique slate of three games at three different locations.
One of those games will pit three-time defending champion Talk 'N Text against the Bolts at the New Cebu Coliseum, with live broadcast over AksyonTV at 3:00 P.M.
League Commissioner Chito Salud said that as the league opens, the welfare of those affected by the calamity will remain in the minds of everyone involved in the PBA.
"The ferocity of competition they will see on opening day will in no way be reflective of our lack of understanding of what truly matters in life and sympathy for those impacted. Rather, it will be a showcase of the brave hearts of our players who all want to serve as inspiration to our countrymen at this time," he said.
Notably missing from the list are rookies from this year's batch. The team picked 4 rookies starting the third round, but did not sign any of them. They opted to field an all veteran team this conference. Included below are the numbers that each player delivered during the 2012-2013 season.
