Bolts 123, GlobalPort 95

Mario West churned in a triple double while Gary David shot the lights out of the Alonte Sports Arena last 14 June as Meralco ended its campaign in the 2013-14 season with bang, routing GlobalPort 123-95 in a PLDT HomePad PBA Governors Cup double header in this bustling Laguna city.

In a battle between two teams which have already been eliminated in the race for the eight-team playoffs, West came up with 30 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists while David had a personal two-conference high of 33 points to lead the Bolts which formally wound up the season-ending third conference with a 3-6 win-loss slate.

Bolts 85, Elasto Painters 104

The Rain or Shine Elasto Painters became the third team to lock up a quarterfinals berth in the 2014 PBA Governors' Cup after routing the Meralco Bolts, 104-85, on Tuesday (10 June 2014) at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

The Elasto Painters (5-3) improved to third place beneath Talk 'N Text (5-1) and San Mig Coffee (5-2). Meralco's (2-6) playoff hopes are dimming after failing to move into the top eight, as they stand above only GlobalPort (1-6).

Bolts 90, Beermen 74

Mario West came up with his best effort in the PBA Governors’ Cup via a 42-point explosion to help Meralco rout a short-handed San Miguel Beer, 90-74, on Saturday.

Coach Ryan Gregorio is thankful they pulled off an upset against the Beermen and notched the Bolts’ second win in 7 starts. He said they need every win to save their Governors' Cup campaign.

Air21 held Meralco to an all-time franchise low four points in the second period en route to the Bolts’ lowest output in a game over the last eight conferences for an 80-67 victory in the 2014 PLDT Home Telpad PBA Governors’ Cup Wednesday (4 June 2014) at the Philsports Arena.

Dominique Sutton and Asi Taulava, a former Meralco player, presided over the Express’ tough defense in the shaded lane while also logging double-doubles each as Air21 also recorded its first-ever win in franchise history against the Bolts.

Bolts 88, Aces 87

Meralco finally crashed the the win-column of the PLDT Home Telpad PBA Governors Cup, no little thanks to a pair of hard-working players.

Cliff Hodge notched 20 points and 12 rebounds the come-backing Mike Cortez also helped make the big plays down the stretch as the Bolts squeaked past Alaska, 88-87, Sunday (1 June 2014) at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Bolts 94, Barako 95

Barako Bull recovered from a huge third quarter collapse, leaning on the steady hands of import Eric Wise in the endgame to pull off a nail-biting 95-94 victory against a fighting Meralco side to kick off its campaign on a winning note at the start of the PBA Governors Cup on Sunday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

It was a huge win for the Energy, who managed to recover in the final period after squandering a 21-point lead, before leaning on the hot hands of Wise in the endgame.
