Sports 5's Interview With Alex Stepheson

Alex Stepheson Interview
Every basketball observer believes that there is a gaping hole in the middle of the Meralco Bolts. There was nobody in the current roster that can fill that void even if Rabeh Al-Hussaini was supposed to be the promising filler. It has been that way ever since Asi Taulava left the team years ago.

After coach Norman Black took over the helm from Ryan Gregorio three seasons ago, that changed slowly and only when the league allows the 12 squads to tap an import. Black was able to push the Bolts to the upper half of the standings with guys like Josh Davis, Arinze Onuaku and Allen Durham.

The 2017 PBA Commissioner's Cup is expected to bring out the best from the Bolts with Alex Stepheson.

In an interview with Sports 5's Chuck Araneta, the 29-year old revealed that he is the main main in the middle for the Bolts. He will be playing with his back to the basket, but has added medium-range jumpers in his arsenal.

With the experience he gained in the NBA and NBA D-League, the 6-10 natural center will be bring in more electrifying moves to the Bolts.
