Where Are They Practicing?

Meralco Gym
The stage is set. The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) is bound to start its 40th season on 19 October 2014. Commissioner Chito Salud has announced that the venue will be the newly-built Philippine Arena, located at the vast Ciudad de Victoria compound, 16 kilometers north of Manila.

However, can an avid PBA fan wait that long? Can a die-hard follower resist the temptation of not being able to see their favorite player and team until the opening day? Are they even contented to just sit their in front of their computer screen and read through some incomplete articles about the subject of their adoration?

Well, if they can't resist it anymore, there is another option. Why not visit them in their practice venues? PBA teams usually practice and condition the player in publicly-accessible gyms. Although there are strict regulations against taking pictures and videos, company representatives welcome their fans to witness their preparation, unless they want to isolate and create a stir that will negatively affect their sales.

Let us take a rundown of where you can find your PBA teams' practice venue in Metro Manila:
