Update on "Last Home Stand' Refund

Last Home Stand Refund
For those who are waiting to get their money back after being duped into thinking that there will be a game between the homegrown talent of Gilas Pilipinas and a team composed of National Basketball Association (NBA) superstars, you will get your money soon.

According to the sponsor, Philippine Long Distance Telephone (PLDT) Company, they have started to refund on Wednesday (24 July 2014) tickets for the two cancelled tune-up games.

In a statement released to media offices, organizers of the 'Last Home Stand' event which received a lot of flak after NBA players were barred from playing against the Philippine national team announced the process of refunding pricey tickets that were sold for as much as PhP 23,300.

Ticket holders received the following emails a few days ago after they gave their contact information and names to the organizers:
"Dear Sir, Madam,

If you purchased your The Last Home Stand tickets from Ticketnet,
please proceed to the Ticketnet Box Office located at Yellow Gate, Smart-Araneta Coliseum,
starting 24 July onwards, from 10:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. daily. Please surrender your physical ticket
and provide your name to immediately claim your cash refund.

If you purchased your The Last Home Stand tickets from Ticketnet Online [www.ticketnet.com.ph],
you do not need to go to the Smart-Araneta Coliseum. Your online payment will be reversed
on your credit card.
For information regarding the refund process, ticket holders can call or text 0919-6140865 or email RefundIGW@gmail.com.
