The current Governor’s Cup has yet to determine its winner, but this early, expectations are high on the current batch of rookies to apply for the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Expected to be picked early on 24 August 2014 at Robinsons Place Manila are Ray Parks, Jr., Chris Bancher and Stanley Pringle.
However, before the rookie draft, the league will be holding an expansion draft before the end of July where the 10 active teams are to make excessive players available for recruitment by the two expansion teams, Kia and Blackwater Sports. NLEX has already indicated their plans of buying the Air 21 Express franchise instead.
Meanwhile, here is a quick look at the order of the 2014 PBA draft based on the teams' performances in the first two conferences of the year. The order is bound to change after the Governors Cup.

poor meralco dear, not even a single draft.... but this they could do to bolster their line-up a bit, even one significant player can do wonders for us.

next is for nlex to honor the agreement kuno between air 21 & smc to bring back joseph yeo to their fold (which is really from sta. lucia to meralco naman di b) but not for urbiztondo, but maybe an ellis, or a baracael, or a ababou, or lutz or even forrester, if not even their 1st pick for the coming season would do in exchange for yeo, that is, if they really wanted to get yeo. after this, mr. mvp could ship a point guard, maybe a poligrates to meralco using a conduit. but still after this, we become smaller, so we must shop for a big man, a real center, maybe even from unrestricted players out there. but we have to do with what we have, weve done it before, were used to playing without a legit big man, but we have to improve our pg & sf slot, so that we could compete with the smc teams .if this could be done, air 21/nlex will be tougher since they could get a ganuelas or pringles or even a banchero or even a kevin alas in the draft (forget parks, sure to be the #1 pick), they become bigger with alhussaini, then they could dispose 1 or 2 players for meralco's benifit.
I definitely agree that Yeo is worth more than Urbiztondo. As for Al-Hussaini, the Bolts would be better off without him.
